Optional add-on / Band Mailroom
We manage the boring parts of an own-domain mail setup: up to 3 mailbox accounts, aliases, forwarding, DNS, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, basic delivery checks, and adding or offboarding a bandmate. The band stays the provider’s super administrator; Dead North is a delegated admin, never the owner of the account.
Mailbox licences are paid directly by the band at provider cost — currently from $12 per user/year for a 5 GB Zoho Mail Lite mailbox. More than 3 managed mailboxes add $2/mo each, plus that mailbox’s provider licence.
Not included: reading or answering mail, copywriting, bulk marketing campaigns, old-mail migration, or open-ended phone/computer support. Those are separate, quoted work. The band can remove Dead North’s admin access at any time.
Every plan: the contact route sends people to an inbox the band already uses. The Still On Tour-address plan does not include an @stillontour.com mailbox.
Your own domain: I can set up free incoming email forwarding, such as hello@yourband.com to an existing inbox. That receives mail; it does not create a mailbox or let you send from that address.
If you need real band email without the Mailroom: you buy it directly so it stays yours. Zoho Mail Lite is currently listed from $1 per user/month on annual billing; Google Workspace Business Starter is $7 per user/month annually or $8.40 flexible. I can set up the DNS as a separately quoted one-time task — no markup and no trapped account.
Domains: on the two own-domain plans, the band registers and renews its domain directly. I recommend a registrar that charges at cost, then help connect it at launch. The domain is not included in the monthly hosting price.
